Kristen Caloca, Founder and CEO
Kristen helps organizations act with clarity in high-stakes moments. With 22+ years in strategic communications, public affairs, and nonprofit leadership, she has advised everyone from grassroots advocates to Fortune 100 companies and public agencies—always with an eye toward durable, values-aligned impact.
Fun fact: When she’s not working, Kristen is usually with her family or managing life with an anxious (and beloved) rescue Labradoodle who also serves as Kairos’ Chief Culture Officer.
Grace Granados, Communications Strategist
Grace helps organizations and causes leverage their Kairos moment for maximum visibility through the power of communications. Bringing focus to every project, she helps clients turn ideas into work that resonates. With experience across government, nonprofit, and agency settings, Grace is known for her steady, collaborative approach.
Fun Fact: Having visited six continents, Grace hopes to cross Antarctica off the list someday.
Andrea Vaudrey, Director of Operations
Andrea ensures Kairos Impact Strategies runs with intention and precision, turning strategy into action through strong systems, thoughtful processes, and operational excellence.
Fun fact: Andrea is an ordained minister in the Free Methodist Church USA.
Anaí Ibarra, Bilingual & Bicultural Communications Strategist
Anaí is a highly motivated and experienced Bilingual (English & Spanish) Communications and Marketing Consultant in Social Change, Media Relations, Public Affairs, Community Outreach, and Engagement for the English and Latino markets. A fully bilingual strategist, Anaí has over 25 years of experience in communications, successfully promoting messages of social change, and possesses deep knowledge of the country’s socio-economic inequalities and political landscape.
Known for advancing Latino representation, Anai has a proven ability to craft compelling narratives, develop cross-platform content, and serve as a Spanish spokesperson. Her collaborative approach enables clients to connect meaningfully with Latino audiences through innovative strategies, including bilingual media training, media relations, and consistent community outreach.
Anaí has worked with corporate and non-profit organizations, public relations agencies, and political campaigns. Social justice, human rights, protecting the environment, access to education and healthcare, and women’s empowerment are some of the issues closest to her heart and where she brings her zest and contagious enthusiasm.
Fun fact: Originally from Guatemala, Anaí was educated in the United States through a Fulbright Scholarship on Communications.
Shadow, Chief Culture Officer
As Chief Culture Officer, Shadow is responsible for maintaining healthy boundaries, boosting team morale, and interrupting Zoom calls at precisely the right moment. A rescued Labradoodle with big feelings, he believes culture is built through compassion, frequent snacks, and tummy rubs.
Fun fact: Shadow thinks he is a human and can often be found lounging on couch throw pillows.
